Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Vice Ganda truly lived up to the “Super Divas” name during their concert on August 8 and 9 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
For more than four hours, they kept the audience entertained with nonstop music and laughter, and the time just flew by.
A few days before the concert, Regine shared on her TikTok account that “Super Divas” would be her first concert featuring mostly upbeat songs.
“Excited ako kasi first time ko gumawa ng concert na puro fast songs, puro disco, dance music, first time ko gagawin,” the “Asia’s songbird” told her followers.
“Normally kasi talaga sa isang concert gagawin ko yung opening, maybe in the middle may mga fast songs, then towards the end of the show. Pero never ko pa ginawa yung lahat dance music. First time. So, it’s pretty exciting for me,” she added.

True to her word, Regine delivered an energetic performance throughout the concert night. From the opening act to the final song, she sang upbeat hits spanning decades, from the 1970s classic “Disco Inferno” to the contemporary chart-topper “Golden” from Netflix’s animated film “KPop Demon Hunters.”
Asia’s Songbird also delighted fans with several medleys alongside Vice, covering iconic hits by Madonna and Rihanna.
Meanwhile, Vice kept the audience laughing nonstop, especially during her playful banter with Regine. But what truly impressed fans were her show-stopping performances, particularly her solo act featuring Lady Gaga hits, complete with a costume change for each song.
It was clear she poured a lot of time and effort into her production numbers. The Phenomenal Star even joked about missing a week of “It’s Showtime” rehearsals, apologizing to her ABS-CBN bosses.
“Ito po ang dahilan kung bakit ako wala sa Showtime for one week, pasensya na po,” she jokingly told her bosses.
To the delight of concertgoers, “Super Divas” also featured special guest performers including Gloc 9, The Streetboys, Darren Espanto, Kyle Echarri, Klarisse de Guzman, The Mitra Sisters and Dia Maté.
