Philippines posts $3.8 billion trade deficit for October

 The Philippines posted a trade deficit PHTBAL=ECI of $3.83 billion for October, 34.2% narrower than the deficit a year ago, preliminary official data showed on Friday.

Imports PHIMP=ECI fell 6.5% in October from a year earlier to $11.2 billion, while exports PHEXP=ECI increased by 19.4% to $7.4 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
