MANILA — The Philippines’ gross foreign reserves PHFXR=ECIrose to $108.8 billion at the end of September from an upwardly revised $107.1 billion a month earlier, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said on Tuesday, citing preliminary data.
The reserves offer a “robust” external liquidity buffer equivalent to 7.3 months worth of imports of goods and payments of services and primary income, it said in a statement.
