Philippines posts $3.95 billion trade deficit in June

 The Philippines posted a trade deficit PHTBAL=ECI of $3.95 billion in June, preliminary official data showed on Wednesday.

Imports PHIMP=ECI in June rose 10.8% from a year earlier to $10.98 billion, while exports PHEXP=ECI increased by 26.1% to $7.02 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
