A criminology graduate earned attention for printing a miniature congratulatory poster after passing the board exams.

Reports said that Paul Arman Hernandez of Batangas City posted a tiny printout congratulating himself for passing the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination.

Unlike the usual large tarpaulins used to congratulate board passers, Hernandez had a very small printout that was barely noticeable.

He posted it on the outside of their fence, just beside the gate of their house.

Hernandez told Inquirer that he and his friend came up with the idea of making his poster different from the usual large tarpaulins.

He added that his family was also surprised when they saw it, sharing that they had no idea there was a poster on their fence.

Another version of the congratulatory poster can be seen on Facebook.

Hernandez graduated from Lipa City Colleges.

Meanwhile, it is typical for Filipinos to have tarpaulins printed out to congratulate a family member who has passed a board exam.

This is because passing a board exam is considered a major milestone in a person’s life.

Board exams are administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), which regulates and supervises the practice of professionals who make up the country’s highly skilled workforce.
