The film director on Friday, April 24, shared her experience as a passenger of a ride-hailing app she booked while on her way to the airport for a flight.
She then shared how the driver responded to her request.
Tonet quipped.

“I think this resonates more [with] ‘be careful with what you wish for.’ Hahaha,” a Filipino commented.
Taking ‘pabilisan’ as a personal challenge. ‘I do not take requests, I take CHALLENGES’ era,” another quipped, referring to Tonet’s astrological sign.
“Naririnig ko boses mo, direk,” another wrote.
“Driver: Be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it, you just might get it, you just might get it,” a different Threads user quipped, sharing music-related emojis. The comment was part of the lyrics of Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up Lyrics.”
Flight passengers are always advised to arrive at the airport hours before departure due to pre-departure processes, which may include heavy traffic, long security queues, and time-sensitive check-in and baggage drop deadlines.
Meanwhile, ride-hailing drivers are urged to maintain defensive driving standards, given their role in passenger transport.
