A Caloocan-based nail artist warned the public to stay vigilant after a man ransacked her studio.
Rai Nails raised the alert on Monday, April 13, following a burglary at her home studio on Sunday, April 12, at 10:40 a.m.
“Pinasok po tayo at nanakawan ng nail drill, benta sa tindahan at iba pang gamit,” the nail artist posted in her Facebook page.
She said CCTV footage captured the suspect’s face and that the incident had already been reported to authorities.
“Sa mga clients ko po, don’t worry dahil tuloy pa rin ang ating mga appointments. May back-up equipment po tayo para hindi ma-delay ang inyong nail sessions. See you at the studio!” the Rai Nails wrote.
“Masama lang po talaga ang loob ko,” the nail artist added.
“Mag-ingat po palagi. Salamat po sa Ama at walang nangyaring masama sa’ming mag-ina,” she continued.
Last week, police warned the public to be wary of individuals posing as local government officials and claiming to have “gifts” for residents.
On April 7, a senior citizen and her two grandchildren in Quezon City fell victim to a group that gained entry into their home after tricking the elderly woman into believing the local government had a “birthday cake” for her.
Their vehicle, two motorcycles, and other belongings were later stolen, with total losses exceeding P1 million.
