A television network has warned the public to stay vigilant against fake casting calls and audition announcements falsely claiming to be for upcoming GMA shows.

On Tuesday, March 17, the Kapuso network released an advisory urging supporters not to engage with these fraudulent posts. The network emphasized that legitimate auditions will only be announced through its official platforms and authorized partners.

“Do not engage with these posts. Huwag magbibigay ng personal information, pera, at anumang sensitibong bagay na maaari nilang hingin,” it said in its advisory.

“I-report ang mga kahina-hinalang posts o accounts gamit ang ‘Report’ feature ng platform kung saan ninyo ito nakita, o mag-message sa official GMA Network pages,” it added.

The network has a page dedicated to audition announcements for its shows called “Sparkle Auditions.”

GMA Network is one of the biggest networks in the country which airs various entertainment programs such as “Apoy Sa Dugo,” “Hating Kapatid” and “Never Say Die.”
