The live-in partner of a man allegedly working at a bank claimed he was “traumatized” following the virality of photos showing him in suggestive poses with a standee of an actress.
The showbiz-oriented Facebook page “Circle of Stars,” posted a message reportedly sent by Facebook user Rhea Paquera, who claimed to personally know the man seen posing with a Kathryn Bernardo standee.
Rhea reportedly asked the page to “delete” the posts featuring Argie Buaya and threatened to “report” the page if it failed to comply.
“One of the guys in that picture is my partner, and he is traumatized right now. Hindi na niya alam kung anong gagawin kasi pinost lang naman ng katrabaho niya na walang paalam sa kanya,” the reported message read.
“Sinabihan na niya ‘yung katrabaho niya na huwag i-post kasi bawal ‘yun sa work nila, pero wala siyang kaalam-alam na pinost pa rin talaga ng katrabaho niya,” Rhea continued with an angry face emoji at the end.
In another message, she condemned the page for posting the photos said she would attempt to “consult” a lawyer.
Last week, photos of a man striking suggestive poses with a Kathryn standee disturbed some online users, who found them alarming.
The incident allegedly took place at a bank branch in Moalboal, Cebu.

Many criticized the man for “sexualizing” the standee, even though the actress was not depicted suggestively.
“Pati standee hindi pinalagpas sa kahayupan at kababuyan? Nothing is safe [from] evil animals disguised as humans, but always hungry for flesh and cannot hide their true identity. The audacity?” an online user previously wrote.
Neither BPI nor BPI Direct BanKo has released a statement regarding the alleged incident.
