A playful moment at a beach in Aloguinsan, Cebu, went viral last month.
TikTok user Kai (@its_kai27) shared a funny video showing a child named Lance timing his hand movements with the incoming waves, making it look as if he were controlling the splashes, until a big wave suddenly crashed, splashing another child and creating a lighthearted, humorous scene.
The clip has so far gone viral, garnering 3.8 million views, 523,100 likes, 1,271 comments and 20,600 bookmarks.

“Adamus is shaking!!! HAHAHA,” the text in the video reads.
The uploader was referring to Adamus, a major character in the Philippine fantasy TV series “Encantadia” (2016) and “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.” He is one of the four Sang’gres, who are guardians of powerful elemental gems. Specifically, the character is the keeper of the Water Gem (Brilyante ng Tubig).
Others noticed that the actress, portraying Flamarra, another “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” character, keeper of the fire gem (Brilyante ng Apoy) reposted the video. The character is played by Faith Da Silva.

Several TikTok users praised the boy for his timing.
