“We’re from Boys Night Out. YEAH, MEENN!!!”
That was the roar that closed “Boys Night Out: Last Night Out,” the final farewell of the radio show that shaped late nights for nearly two decades.
In an event last January 14 at XYLO at The Palace, Uptown, fans finally got the night they’d waited for since a November cancellation due to bad weather.
“I didn’t realize how many listeners we had,” host TonyToni said, reflecting on the overwhelming support.
“The hits, the follows, the tweets, the shares—it was overwhelming. And because of that, all of you are the reason we’re here tonight,” he said.
He turned to his co-hosts: “To Sam, Slick, Gino, and Tin…thank you for sharing this ride with me. For sharing my dream. I’m going to miss you guys.”
The evening was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and inside stories only 19 years of friendship could produce, from TonyToni recalling a night when something mysteriously slipped into his drink (courtesy of the Boys), to chaotic COVID-era drinking sessions, to the running joke about Jojo The Love Survivo, the group’s infamous “superspreader.” Beneath the humor, there was a deeper bond: genuine love, respect, and memories forged on-air and off.
The reunion brought back Tin Gamboa’s emotional farewell from the previous year, a moment that went viral and reminded everyone of the show’s massive, loyal following.
The event was produced by The Lighthouse Group (TLG) and featured a final reunion of TonyToni, Sam YG, Slick Rick, Tin and Gino Quillamor.
Their radio program, “Boys Night Out” on Magic 89.9, aired its final episode on Sept. 30, 2025, earlier than planned, after the station’s new management placed the hosts under preventative suspension, cutting short the originally scheduled #LastNightOut.

In response, the current and former hosts organized an event for fans to give the show a proper farewell. The event was initially scheduled for November 2025 but was postponed due to Typhoon Uwan, citing safety concerns for guests, partners, and staff.
“Boys Night Out: Last Night Out” was presented by Icon Clinic, with major sponsor HONOR and supported by partners Magis Communications Manila, Birch Tree Adult Plus, Century Tuna, BYD, Katinko, Omni Electrical & Lighting, PalawanPay and LGR.
The event was attended by fellow radio personalities Boom Gonzalez and Riki Flores, as well as Sponge Cola frontman Yael Yuzon.
