A young man from General Trias City, Cavite was reportedly caught stealing meat from a P199 samgyupsal restaurant while dining with a female companion.
On December 12, a Reddit user shared a video showing the male diner placing meat into a plastic bag at an undisclosed restaurant.
The man and his companion were later confronted by another individual, who warned the female companion against associating with the young man and said their names should be noted for a “ban.”
In the end, the young man reportedly did not make them pay for the leftovers or the meat they managed to bag, reportedly understanding that they were tight on money.
“‘Wag mo na lang uulitin,” the male individual told the young man. “Hindi nakakatuwa ‘yan.”
However, he instructed the staff to have the two diners pay their bill, excluding the “overcharge.”

The Reddit post has since garnered 3,900 upvotes and over 860 comments, with many users condemning the diners’ actions.
“P199 na nga lang, nanakawan pa. Ang lala naman,” a Redditor said.
“Ang hilig kasi mag-post ng mga tao na nagbubulsa ng karne, akala nila nakakatawa. It’s not funny at all. Ang dugyot ng gawain na ‘yon,” another wrote.
“Saludo sa pasensya at pag-unawa ng may-ari. Swerte ng magnanakaw, natapat siya sa ugaling galing sa wala at lumalaban ng patas. Tama pangaral ni lods, nasa sakanila na kung uulit pa sila, after silang hulihiin at sabunin sa harap ng ibang tao na mali ang magnakaw. A Samgyupsal place is a restaurant that serves grilled pork belly, a popular Korean barbecue dish. Servings are usually unlimited, which sometimes tempts diners to take extra meat.
