An unexpected dog rescue unfolded in Butuan City.
On November 23, TikTok user @reviewz8 shared a video showing a dog trapped between the metal bars of a jalousie window inside a classroom.
Daryl, 38 years old, and Ivy, 28 years old, quickly respond as the dog struggles to squeeze out, unable to free itself.
After a long struggle, they are able to rescue the frightened dog, ending the incident safely.
The dog rescue was posted on TikTok garnering 50,000 views, 4,999 likes, 145 comments and 149 bookmarks.
“Na para bang exhibit yan [siya] sa museum,” the TikTok uploader wrote.
Asked how the dog got trapped, the uploader responded: “Uwian time po, and di napansin [ni ma’am] na may aso pa sa loob. The dog [tried to find] ways para makalabas. Siguro pinilit niya talaga pumasok sa grills. Pero [na-rescue] po [siya] agad.
The TikTok user also clarified concerns regarding the safety of the dog.
“The video was cut. Nagpupumiglas na [si] doggy na [makawala] mhie as soon as nakita na [niya] yung open space, [kaya] hinayaan na namin baka [makagat] pa po [si] sir. Hindi pa naman po matagal [pagka-stuck] niya [diyan]. [Na-rescue] po [siya] agad. [na-comfort naman] yung doggy after. The owner is one of our students,” the TikTok user wrote.
