A TikTok user captured the powerful winds of former Super Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-wong) earlier this month.
On November 9, TikTok user @veranganiiii shared a dramatic video of a Ferris wheel in Tagaytay during Uwan.
In the video, from a distance, three Ferris wheel cabins are seen spinning uncontrollably due to strong winds, with thick storm clouds looming over the area, creating a tense and surprising scene.
Many online users wondered if the video had been sped up, while others noted that the wind was indeed that strong, commenting on how frightening it would have been to be on the ride.
“Wait hindi to naka fast forward?? Bakit ambilis ng ulap??” a TikTok user asked.
“185 kph ang wind ng bagyong Uwan mabilis talaga,” one responded, explaining the speed.
“May ferris wheel sa ferris wheel?” a TikTok user commented.
“Imbes na ferris wheel naging rollercoaster,” one quipped.
“Nakakatakot for me idk why huhu,” a TikTok user wrote.
“Imagine nasa loob ka tas lalo pa dumagdag yung bilis ng hangin,” another commented.
The TikTok video has so far garnered 1.1 million views, 75,000 likes, 1047 comments and 3,284 shares.
