In a heartwarming moment, a group of nursing interns sang to comfort patients on their last day of duty.

Ten students performed a local song for mothers and their newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center in Pangasinan.

Footage captured by Jay Anne Cato shows the group standing together at the doorway as they deliver the soothing music on April 8.

“I was feeling so down at that time because I was worried about my baby’s condition, she was only 1.2 kilos and born at 30 weeks,” she said.

“Then they sang to us, and I just cried my heart out. They gave me such comfort, and I’m so thankful for what they did,” Cato added.
