GCash is a mobile wallet service by Globe Telecom

Starting October 1, 2025, all direct cash-in transactions to mobile payment service GCash will be routed through InstaPay, following a directive from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

GCash is operated by G-Xchange Inc. (GXI) and is regulated by BSP.

The BSP requires all e-wallets and online banks to adopt InstaPay to ensure faster safer, and more transparent digital fund transfers across the country.

GCash said that it will not charge any fees for direct cash-ins made via InstaPay. However, the company advised users to check with their respective banks, as some partner banks may implement their own service fees or update their policies in line with this transition.

“GCash confirms that it will not charge direct cash in fees under the new InstaPay model,” the mobile wallet giant said.

Users are encouraged to monitor announcements from their banks regarding new fees or transition schedules.

The mobile wallet giant emphasized its commitment to keeping services safe, seamless, and affordable, while continuing to work with partner banks and regulators to enhance the customer experience.

It encouraged those who need further information or assistance to visit GCash Help Center, call 2882 (Globe/TM) or (02) 7213-9999 (Globe Landline) or use the Internet Call feature via the Help Center for their concerns.
