The St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish Cathedral in Dumaguete City is hosting a Marian exhibit from Aug. 30 to Sept. 7, featuring 15 images of the Blessed Virgin Mary under her various titles.

The exhibit is spearheaded by Bro. Ralph Insertado of the Oblates of Mama Mary, in partnership with the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) of the parish.

Insertado said the exhibit aims to educate the faithful about the life of the Blessed Mother and her continued role as a source of inspiration and comfort.

“She is there to lead us closer to Jesus,” Insertado said. “She plays a vital role in our spiritual journey and in our Christian faith.”

The exhibit is supported by several Marian organizations and the Camareros of the parish.

In celebration of the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the cathedral will also host a Marian concert on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m., followed by a Marian motorcade on Sept. 8 at 6:15 p.m.

Organizers encourage parishioners, especially the youth, to visit the exhibit and take part in the scheduled activities in honor of the Blessed Mother.
