Filipinos were in awe of beauty queen Precious Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz who turned heads as she rocked her natural gray hair during the Binibining Pilipinas 2026 Grand Coronation Night.
The Miss International 2005 titleholder served as one of the judges during the coronation night of Bb. Pilipinas on July 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Lara’s look consisted of a matching white asymmetric top and a long skirt with a thigh-high slit. She completed the ensemble with styled hair that drew attention for its color.
“It took a village for me to look like this. If I can only bring you all with me all the time. Thank you for making me beautiful that night,” she said in a social media post on Monday, July 20, referring to her glam team.

Lara surprised some Filipinos when they learned she was embracing her natural hair color.
“Woah. Gulat na gulat ako, like, charoot. But [seriously], akala ko talaga hair dye nung nakita ko siya sa Bb. Pilipinas judges, at nagandahan ako. Hindi ka po mukhang lola. Mukha kang Gen Z,” an online user wrote.
“Honestly speaking, I love it, Ms. Lara… I thought nagpakulay ka na parang ash grey or something… And you nailed it to have that kind of hair color… I love it, Ms. Lara,” another commented.
“Natural hair niya pala ‘yan. Kala ko sinadya niya talaga magpa-gray ng hair. Awiiieeeeh! Super ganda, our Queen Lara!” a different Pinoy wrote.
“Maganda ka pa rin, Ms. Lara, [to be honest], I thought nagpakulay ka lang, ‘yun pala totoo na, hehe… nonetheless, maganda ka kahit anong kulay pa ng buhok mo,” another said.
Last May, the 43-year-old revealed that she was “tired” of constantly trying to hide her growing gray hair.
“Ilang taon ko tinago, tiniis, tinakpan… and I’m done. Pagod na ako. Ayoko na,” she wrote in May.
Lara shared that having gray hair at an earlier-than-usual age runs in her family, particularly on her father’s side.
She said that she has been hiding her gray hair since her “early thirties.”
“I’m finally letting go of ‘perfection’ and embracing my God-given white hair that comes not just with age, but with genetics too. So call me lola or grandma, it’s okay… I’m going to try and rock this white hair,” Lara said before.
