Mallgoers across the Philippines can soon experience an interactive environmental roadshow designed to inspire action for the planet.
Dubbed “Panda on the Move: WWF’s Conservation & Fundraising Roadshow,” the event will feature engaging photo exhibits, mini environmental talks, educational performances, and donor engagement booths.
The roadshow would give the public a chance to learn about conservation in an immersive way.
The project is a joint effort between Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and the World Wide Fund for Nature–Philippines (WWF-Philippines).
The initiative will visit the following multiple mall locations nationwide, including Eastwood Mall, Uptown Bonifacio, Lucky Chinatown, Venice Grand Canal at McKinley Hill, Alabang West Parade, Greenhouse at the Village Square Alabang, Twin Lakes and Southwoods Mall, to raise environmental awareness and community involvement.
Participants can expect a mix of learning, entertainment, and opportunities to contribute to environmental causes, all while enjoying an interactive, family-friendly experience.
Representatives from both organizations, including Tinay Villanueva, Senior Assistant Vice President and Head of Brand and Marketing of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and Katherine Custodio, Executive Director of WWF-Philippines, formalized the collaboration in a recent signing ceremony, joined by WWF’s panda mascot, Chichi.
They were also joined by Daryl Dela Cruz, Sustainability Manager at Megaworld Corporation, and Cloda Urquico, Head of Resource Generation & Partnerships at
WWF-Philippines.
Villanueva said the partnership “brings the mission of conservation into everyday
spaces.”
“By hosting their programs in our malls, we aim to inspire everyday acts that lead to lasting change and empower communities to help protect our planet for generations to come,” she said.
The roadshow’s schedules have yet to be announced.
