Motorcycle owners who have yet to receive their plates for units from 2014 to 2017 are urged to claim them through the Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) Plate Distribution Caravan.

The LTO announced on Sunday, August 10, that it will distribute motorcycle plates with year models from 2014 to 2017 and accommodate old license plates for replacement.

The caravan will be held on Wednesday, August 13, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lower Ground Floor, Eat Street, in front of the PLDT Smart Store at Robinsons Galleria.

To be accommodated, motorcycle owners must bring the following:

  • Original and photocopy of the Official Receipt (OR) or Certificate of Registration (CR)
  • Valid ID of the motorcycle’s registered owner
  • Deed of Sale (if the motorcycle is not yet under the name of the one getting the license plate)

The LTO said the initiative is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon to expedite the distribution of license plates to the public. The agency stressed that the caravan will only distribute license plates for motorcycles.

Last week, a similar initiative was held by the LTO in a Quezon City shopping mall’s parking lot for motorcycles.
