Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto amused users on the Meta-owned Threads platform with a humorous remark about his age and early sleeping habits.
“2:30 a.m. kanina, gising na ko, ganito yata talaga ‘pag malapit na mag-senior,” he wrote on Tuesday, August 5.
His post has garnered 6,700 likes, 482 reposts and 472 replies, with some Filipinos sharing their reactions in the replies thread.

“Layo pa, HAHHAAHA,” wealth coach Chinkee Tan wrote.
“Soafer OA naman, mayor. Baka 6 p.m. ka kasi natulog? Hehe,” another wrote.
“Signs of the times… pero kung productive ka naman, why not,” a different Pinoy said.
“Maybe your mind works tirelessly, that’s why,” another commented.

Sotto has the following bio in his Threads profile: “Testing. Work-related posts usually on FB.”
Last June, he caught attention on the platform with this quip: “40 feels good!”
The mayor later responded to an online user who greeted him with a “happy birthday.”
“Wala naman po ako sinabing years old. Push ups po tinutukoy ko. [Tumatanda] na, kailangan maging mas disiplinado sa pag-exercise,” he wrote.
Sotto, currently 36 years old, is one of the youngest serving mayors in Metro Manila.
