Philippines sees record 22,820 new daily coronavirus cases

MANILA — The Department of Health on Thursday reported 22,820 coronavirus cases, a new daily record.

It said total confirmed cases rose to 2.16 million, while deaths reached 34,733, after confirming 61 more fatalities. —Reporting by Neil Jerome Morales; Editing by Martin Petty
