A new set of collaborations is bringing Pokemon into everyday wear and digital routines, from sneakers to smartwatches, as the franchise marks 30 years since its launch.
Sportswear brand PUMA has released a Pokémon-themed collection that draws from the contrast between Espeon and Umbreon, two characters often associated with day and night.
The lineup also includes references to Pikachu and Mimikyu across footwear and apparel.
The collection reworks several PUMA silhouettes into Pokémon-inspired designs, alongside apparel such as graphic shirts, jerseys, and track sets. Accessories and a kids’ line are also part of the release, extending the collection across different age groups.
According to the sneaker the collaboration invites fans to explore a mix of fashion and fandom.
“PUMA and Pokémon invite fans to venture ‘Into Another World’ by capturing the essence of a day-to-night lifestyle and fusing performance gear with pop culture,” it said.
Separately, Garmin has introduced Pokémon-themed watch faces for select smartwatches through its Connect IQ Store. The designs are based on Pokemon Sleep, allowing users to track their energy levels throughout the day.
Two watch face options are available: one featuring Snorlax and other characters, and another that lets users choose from dozens of Pokémon companions.
The display changes depending on the user’s Body Battery energy levels, with characters shifting expressions as the day progresses. A night mode also activates ahead of the user’s scheduled bedtime.
The latest releases follow earlier brand collaborations tied to Pokémon.
In 2025, clothing retailer UNIQLO launched a UT collection in partnership with the Pokémon Trading Card Game and its mobile app, featuring card illustrations of Pikachu and other characters.
“For the first time ever, UNIQLO teams up with the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app for a UT collection that Pokémon fans of all ages will want to catch,” the company said at the time.
The collection, released on Aug. 11, 2025, brought iconic TCG visuals into apparel, linking physical and digital collecting.
