Ryan Gosling is taking fans on a visual journey before his movie even hits theaters.

For his upcoming film “Project Hail Mary,” the actor helped recreate an iconic “La La Land”–inspired poster, showing off his creative side beyond acting.

On set, Ryan’s partner Rocky joined him to strike a pose, adding a playful touch to the photoshoot. The result? As Rocky put it, “Amaze amaze amaze.”

This is my Hail Mary attempt to fix my la-la hand. My buddy Rocky is going to help me. Ready? Yeah, we’re good,” he said.

From poster to big screen

“Project Hail Mary” isn’t just a starring role for Gosling as he is also one of the producers. The film is adapted from Andy Weir’s bestselling sci-fi novel (author of “The Martian”) and is helmed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller as producers and director.

For this film, Ryan plays science teacher Ryland Grace, who wakes up on a seemingly empty spacecraft with no memory of himself or why he’s in space.

As he regains his memories, Grace remembers his mission: to stop an alien lifeform from cooling the sun. With an unlikely ally by his side, he races against time to save Earth from extinction.

Joining Ryan are Sandra Hüller, Milana Vayntrub, Ken Leung, Liz Kingsman and James Ortiz.

“Project Hail Mary” opens in Philippine cinemas tomorrow, March 18.
