Matteo Guidicelli has asked two celebrity husbands a similar question on “Matteo G Primetime”: How do they feel about their wives working with leading men?
In a recent interview with Nico Bolzico, Matteo asked about seeing Solenn Heussaff working with or having a leading man. The segment came after Matteo asked Erwan Heussaff—Bolzico’s brother-in-law—a similar set of questions about Anne Curtis being paired with other actors onscreen.
The Erwan interview earlier circulated online after Guidicelli asked how he felt when Curtis was partnered with another leading man. Erwan said he was fine with it, explaining that Curtis was already doing films before they were together.
Guidicelli followed up by asking whether there was “no jealousy, no heartache, no pinch in the bottom of the heart,” to which Erwan said there’s none.
In Bolzico’s case, Matteo asked a similar question, admitting that he poses the query to “all the men sitting here, because all the men sitting here has (sic) partners from show bussiness.”
“How is it seeing your significant other being on screen with another–” Guidicelli asked, without finishing the sentence.
Bolzico did that for him. “Man,” he said.
“It’s her job, first of all” Bolzico, a business man and social media personality continued. “I met her she was already doing that, right? So I wouldn’t be fair if I come and say, ‘Oh do not do it anymore.’ No, that’s her life.”
“Second, it’s her job. I know her, I trust her so much, so I know she’s taking this as her job. And I’m not the jealous type also. Also I don’t think I could be jealous with Solenn. Look at her, she needs her freedom. She needs to be able to work, to do everything,” Bolzico added.
Reactions
On Reddit’s ChikaPH forum, users were quick to point out Guidicelli asking “his favorite question again.”
The poster also criticized the line of questioning. In the same interview, Bolzico shares how he met Solenn for the first time. It was at a bar after Solenn shot a music video. He saw her there with musician Rico Blanco at 3 a.m.
“Matteo then asks how did Nico feel seeing Solenn and Rico. It was such a stupid question. Nico said he and Solenn didn’t even know each other then, and it doesn’t matter,” the poster commented.
Guidicelli is married to Sarah Geronimo, who has been a successful actor and recording actress said to be a defining voice of her generation. They wed in 2020, after which Geronimo took a hiatus from the entertainment industry.
The two now work closely together in projects under their joint G Music label and G Studios. While Guidicelli hosts a talk show on Bilyonaryo Channel, Geronimo appears as an occasional guest star on “ASAP Natin ‘To.”
