Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala made her TikTok debut by showing a glimpse of her practice before a game.
The 20-year-old athlete delighted fans by creating an account on the popular video-sharing platform, where she has so far gained 26,000 followers.
It is one of the most popular social networking tools among Filipinos.
Alex also hinted at the kind of content she will be posting on TikTok, writing in her bio: “Things I do, fits I wear, places I go.”
“This is me hard launching my #tiktok account. Welcome,” she captioned her first video with an angel face emoji.
“Hey guys, it’s Alex here! Welcome to my inaugural TikTok video,” the athlete told her viewers.
For her first post, Alex gave a glimpse of her “last practice before singles” at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California.

The video has earned 16,000 likes, nearly 500 bookmarks, and 641 comments from TikTok users, including several public figures.
“Hey bestieee,” the account of Miami Open commented.
“Welcome to TikTok, Alex,” the account of Spotify Philippines wrote with a starry-eyed emoji.
“Welcome to TikTok!” the account of the WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) commented with emojis of a wave and a green heart.
Alex is set to face Germany’s Laura Siegemund in the second round of the Miami Open on Friday, March 20.
Last year, the Filipina competed as a wildcard in the same tournament and took it by storm, emerging as a rising star on the WTA Tour.
She later made her debut at Wimbledon and the US Open.
Alex capped off 2025 by winning her first WTA 125 title in Guadalajara and clinching gold at the Southeast Asian Games.
