SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona Aragon shared a recent conversation with her trans child, Sofia Trazona, after Sofia posted about “no longer seeing” her mother.

On Tuesday, February 11, Izzy posted text messages from her firstborn, who said she was happy for her mother, who made a surprise appearance at the “Get, Get Aw rAWnd 4” reunion concert of the girl group.

Izzy used to be part of the Sexbomb Girls, a girl group that rosed to fame with their daily appearances on a noontime TV program. They later starred in the afternoon drama “Daisy Siete” and eventually became top recording artists.

“I’m so happy and proud of you!! In spite of everything, you still [stuck] to what you know is right. Naiiyak lang ko na nakita ko na nasa concert ka with your friends,” Sofia texted with a heart emoji on Saturday, February 7.

Izzy reacted with a heart and replied to her daughter the following day.

“Salamat, anak, by His strength always. I miss you! Continue to be strong, praying for you always. Mag-ingat ka palagi. I love you,” Izzy wrote.

“I miss you, super! Pinagpa-pray kita palagi… I love you too!” Sofia responded.

Izzy shared the conversation amid online allegations that she has a strained relationship with her child.

In 2023, she expressed disapproval of Sofia becoming a drag artist, saying she only wanted to protect her child in accordance with her faith.

“Ayoko na sana i-public ito, pero ang dami nanaman lumalabas at nagco-comment, even if they don’t know the truth behind… palaging ganern [ganoon]. Dapat po ‘wag ganon, hehe. Pero pipilitin ko pa din intindihin ang mga people.  Here is the last convo of my son and I,” Izzy wrote on Wednesday, February 11.

On Monday, February 9, Sofia took to social media to address concerns about her relationship with her mother, after previously drawing attention when Izzy disapproved of her becoming a drag artist.

“Sa lahat ng nag-message sakin,” Sofia wrote.

“No. ‘Di na po kami nagkikita ni mama, I also am scared na ‘pag nakita niya na ako ngayon as a transwoman, iba ‘yung reaction na ma-receive ko and ayoko na bumalik sa dark place nung lumabas ‘yung issue. I just want validation and acceptance. Wala ng iba,” she added.

“It’s honestly so sad na ‘di na ko nakakapunta sa mga reunion sa mom’s side, even birthdays, kasi whenever pumupunta ako, lagi lang akong pinag-uusapan and pinagkakaisahan,” Sofia continued.

In another post, Sofia clarified that she does not mean she will not try to reach out to her mother.

“Ang sinabi ko is ‘di na kami nagkikita and ‘pag nakita niya ako na [trans] na, natatakot ako na baka iba ‘yung reception na ma-receive ko. But it doesn’t mean na ‘di ako nag-ta-try mag-reach out…” she said.

Sofia, previously known as Andrei, admitted that she had lied about Izzy being supportive of her decision to become a drag artist.

She said she did it to protect her mother, who was a former member of a highly popular girl group.

Izzy later said she would disagree if her children did something “against” her faith.
