Television personality Kim Atienza shared that his late daughter, content creator Emmanuelle “Emman” Atienza, taught him how to do a “fit check.”

The TV host on Thursday, January 8, revealed that his daughter was an “ukay-ukay queen” who “loved fashion and took a summer fashion course” at New York University.

“Ukay-ukay” refers to secondhand or pre-loved clothing.

“Emman never told me directly, but she told her friends that she actually admired her Papa’s fashion style,” Kim wrote in a social media post, accompanied by a smiling face emoji.

His post was accompanied by a short video of him and Emman dancing in front of the camera and showing off their outfits.

“This was taken last year before we left for the beach. Emmansky taught me how to fit check,” the TV host said.

The video has garnered one million views, 26,000 likes and reactions, and more than 90 comments.

“Fit check” is an internet expression in which someone shows off their outfit on social media through videos or photos. The term comes from “fit,” short for “outfit,” and “check,” which refers to asking others to look at or rate one’s outfit.

Emman was the youngest daughter of Kim and passed away last October at the age of 19. She was a social media personality known for her humor and genuine connection with her supporters.
