“Four Sisters and a Wedding” stars Enchong Dee and Angeline Quinto earned attention for their photo together at the Star Magical Christmas Ball of ABS-CBN.
The star-studded event marked the reunion for the actors following the success of their 2013 family comedy-drama film, in which Enchong played CJ Salazar or Rebreb, while Angeline played Princess Bayag.
In the movie, Enchong’s character plans to marry his girlfriend of four months, Princess, the heiress of a wellness spa.
However, Enchong’s character’s plan to marry prompts his four sisters, played by Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao, and Angel Locsin, to do everything they can to stop it.
The movie has remained popular among Filipinos for its relatable themes of family and relationships, as well as its comedic lines that have become meme-worthy.
Angeline previously delighted fans by appearing at the Christmas ball wearing an outfit her character wore in the film.

“Shining, shimmering, splendid last night with my NonRevrev at the Star Magical Christmas! Ang Saya,” Angeline wrote in an Instagram post, referencing lines from the movie spoken by her character’s mother.

“Princess Antoinette May Vuu-yaaaggggg is back! Chararat no more,” the actress-singer wrote in another post, referencing more lines.

Her outfit sparked nostalgia among Filipinos, with many fans hoping she would get a picture with her former co-star.
Angeline later shared a photo with Enchong, who playfully indulged fans by leaving a comment on the post.
“Finally, nagkita ulit tayo, CJ,” the actress wrote with a heart-eyed emoji.
“Na-miss kita, RebReb. Masaya ako nakilala mo na si Nonrev,” she added, referring to her husband, Nonrev Daquina.

Angeline’s post has garnered over 16,000 likes and several comments, including from Enchong.
“My love,” he wrote, echoing his character in the movie. He accompanied it with a heart emoji.
Fans also commented about the reunion.
“The comeback that we deserve,” an Instagram user wrote with heart emojis.
“Iconic!” another commented.
“Wow, I love it,” a different Pinoy said.
The Star Magical Christmas Ball, an ABS-CBN event, showcased artists in their most stylish and imaginative takes on Christmas fashion.
The soiree also embraced the spirit of the season with its charity efforts, dedicating the event’s proceeds to the Philippine General Hospital’s Pediatric Unit and the Sagip Kapamilya Foundation.
The ball was held at Okada Manila on Sunday, November 23.
