A US rapper had an impromptu sing-along with fans in a fast-food restaurant in the Philippines.
A group of diners sang Iyaz’s popular song “Solo” in front of the 38-year-old American star at a McDonald’s branch in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Footage captured by Judy Ann Limbaga shows the group singing the chorus of the upbeat track in unison while Iyaz subtly bounces along to the rhythm, joining the lively locals on October 17.
He then stood among them and sang with one hand raised in the air.
“We travelled for almost an hour to watch Iyaz’s concert, but it was sold out, so we just had a meal at McDonald’s,” Limabaga said.
“To our surprise, he came to the fast-food restaurant after his show. We were so happy because we unexpectedly ran into him, so we sang, and he joined us. He was so kind,” he added.
Limbaga posted the video on Facebook where it garnered 49,000 views, 893 likes, 34 comments and 30 shares.
“OK Iyaz, amping! (take care)” the caption read.
