Did actor Derek Ramsay deactivate his Instagram account amid speculations of his split with wife Ellen Adarna?

Reports of the showbiz personality’s disappearance of his Instagram presence appeared on Thursday, September 18.

Ramsay’s handle @ramsayderek07 suddenly had zero posts before vanishing, showbiz blog Fashion Pulis reported.

As of this writing, visiting his account yields the message: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

“The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram,” the notice said.

The actor previously used the account to post photos and videos of himself and Ellen.

Split rumors persist

Ramsay’s alleged deactivation comes amid persistent speculation about the couple’s marriage.

Last month, the actor was reported to have taken a wellness retreat in Indonesia, presumably without Ellen.

“Stripping away the noise, reconnecting with myself. This experience is a reset for the soul, body, and mind. I was tested beyond comfort and pushed past my limits. At Kaminoken Bali, the body endures, the mind sharpens, and the spirit hardens,” Derek said in an Instagram post before.

Earlier this month, Ellen called the separation rumors about them “fake news” and claimed that Instagram may have a “glitch” in its system.

“So, I never unfollowed my husband. Ever. And I don’t know what’s happening here on my IG,” she wrote on Instagram Stories on September 5.

“When I search his name, I’m following him. But on my following list, he’s not there, and I don’t know what’s up with IG… Ako rin nalito,” the actress added.

Before that, Derek slammed false reports that his wife was allegedly unfaithful to him.

“Stop spreading lies about my family. Liana is my daughter and Ellen is a loyal wife!” he previously wrote on an Instagram Story.

Business scam angle. A September 16 report from The Manila Times claimed that Derek was victimized by a P60 million scam involving a build-and-sell business, with the article claiming it was “allegedly” the reason their marriage is “in shambles.”

The couple tied the knot in 2021, just three months after they began dating.
