Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel, a sustainable fashion designer, is seeking the public’s help to craft her next collection.
The Filipino-American on Tuesday, August 19 shared a photo of her looking at sketches while surrounded by fabrics.
She accompanied this with a “Questions” sticker on Instagram, which allows users to ask questions and receive answers from those who choose to respond.
“New collection time. What designs would you like to see?” the half-Pinay asked.

Last year, R’Bonney designed a collection for the homegrown clothing brand Bench, specifically for its Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2024 event.
Called “How to Survive on Land and Sea,” the pieces were inspired by the streetwear of Houston, her hometown in the United States, and Philippine beachwear.
Each of them was crafted from seashells and recyclable materials.
“I love to focus on sustainability and mixing a polished look with a deconstructed style,” R’Bonney said before.
“I’m basically celebrating my Filipino side and my American side,” she added.
“I grew up in Houston, Texas, which is a big city, so I’m incorporating a lot of streetwear elements. And when I think of the Philippines, I think of the beautiful landscapes and beaches, [so] resort wear and beachwear,” R’Bonney said.
The half-Pinay previously shared that fashion design has been her passion since she was 15 years old.
