GOT7’s BamBam to make Manila stop in world tour

BamBam of South Korean group GOT7 is set to stage a concert in Manila as part of his first world tour.

The concert will take place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sept. 22, 2023, Friday.

“Area 52,” the title of BamBam’s world tour, will commence on September 19 and will last until October 28 this year.

Aside from Manila, which is the second destination of BamBam’s world tour, he will also make a stop in Seoul, Macau, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

His latest release and first full album, “Sour & Sweet,” was released last March 28.

GOT7 in the Philippines

This is not the first time BamBam will be visiting the Philippines.

GOT7 as a group and individuals have staged shows in Manila before.

In July 2022, BamBam and Jackson attended “K-pop Masterz in Manila” in SM Mall of Asia Arena.

In the same month last year, BamBam held a fan event at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

The group’s youngest member, Yugyeom, visited Manila in August last year for his solo debut, “Point of View: U.” The show was held at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

At the same venue, Youngjae promoted his solo album, “Sugar,” with a concert and fan meeting. He also performed in K-Pop Masterz EP.2 in Manila.

Lastly, GOT7 leader Jay B also visited the Philippines, performing at Araneta Coliseum in October last year.
