Manila Water announces 8-hour service interruption to 11,000 households in Taguig

The public water distribution utility firm Manila Water is to undertake service improvement works that will cause a temporary 8-hour interruption at two different locations along Cuasay Road, Taguig City.

The transient water service interruption is seen to affect some around 11,000 households with the specific barangays, listed below, beginning Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM, Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Affected barangays:

  • Central Signal
  • South Signal
  • Portions of Western Bicutan (SS Brigade)
  • Portions of Pinagsama (EP Housing Phase 1)

Manila Water is advising all residents of these said barangays to store enough water to supply their needs during the interruption period.

Furthermore, a portion of Cuasay Road, between 11th Street and Sto. Niño Street, is closed to traffic, which began January 9, 2018, in relation to the service maintenance activity.

A rerouting scheme is being implemented in the area.

Vehicles coming from C5 are advised to take Sto. Niño Street to reach the passable portion of MRT Cuasay before 11th Street.

Vehicles coming from C6 is advisedto turn right on 10th Street, take Sampaloc Street, and then turn left toMolave Street to reach the passable portion of MRT Cuasay.

The rerouting scheme is being implemented until the end of February 2018.
