The official footwear of Miss Universe 2022 expressed its support for Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee in a video that introduces her and features her advocacy.
Bragais Shoes on Sunday, November 5 shared a one-minute video that gave a brief introduction to the Philippine bet of the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe.
“For DEE Philippines! JOJO BRAGAIS SHOES is a proud Filipino brand that empowers queens like #MissUniverse PH 2023 #MichelleMarquezDee in their pursuits of impactful advocacies and uplifting stories!” it said on a Facebook post.
“Good luck on your Miss Universe journey, Michelle!” the known pageant footwear brand added.
“May every pair of #BragaisShoes be a dependable support for all women as they WALK and WIN with purpose and pride!” it continued.
The video introduced Michelle as an advocate for autism awareness, an adventurer and a supporter and member of the LGBT+ community.
In the video, she shared that it is her lifelong advocacy to raise awareness and empower individuals in the autism spectrum.
As an adventurer, on the other hand, Michelle said she is “all in” when it comes to self-growth. “I love the thrill of it all!” she said.
She likewise sees herself as a representation of the LGBT+ community.
“I stand with the LGBT+ community and I will walk with them with pride,” the Makati beauty said.
She also called herself a “Filipino queen” who is ready to win the fifth crown of the Philippines. “For the universe!” Michelle said.

The video has amassed 40,000 likes and love reactions, 464,000 views and 3,700 shares so far.
It has likewise earned laudatory comments from different Filipinos.

Bragais Shoes was a two-time provider of footwear for the prestigious Miss Universe, namely in its 69th and 71st editions. It is by Filipino designer Jojo Bragais.
The local brand is known for prioritizing comfort and support in its footwear for pageant candidates.
Meanwhile, Michelle is vying for the country’s fifth Miss Universe crown in the 72nd edition of the global beauty pageant which has over 80 delegates.
The grand coronation will be held in El Salvador on November 18.
