A new mobile app is putting vocation discernment, spiritual reflection and daily prayer resources directly into the hands of Catholics seeking to answer God’s call.

The Jaro Archdiocesan Commission on Vocations (JACV) reintroduced VOCARE on Wednesday during the National Convention of Directors of Vocations, describing it as “a new tool for the mission in today’s age.”

The relaunch also coincided with observances of the 63rd World Day of Prayer for Vocations, marked worldwide April 26.

“Every vocation begins with a prayer,” it said, presenting the app as both a practical resource and spiritual companion for those discerning priesthood, religious life or lay service.

First launched on Feb. 2 on the World Day for Consecrated Life, VOCARE offers daily vocational reflections, discernment prayers, Holy Hour guides, rosaries and novenas.

The commission said the app was designed to make prayer “accessible, daily, and powerful for everyone,” particularly younger Catholics navigating spiritual formation in an increasingly digital culture.

“More than an app, VOCARE is a companion for daily reflection, discernment, and fidelity to one’s vocation,” it said.

Currently available on the Google Play Store, VOCARE will soon expand to iOS, with additional resources also accessible through the commission’s official website.
