In a heartwarming moment, a mother who suffered a stroke was helped on stage to pin her son’s medal.

Teachers and Boy Scouts assisted the proud mom up the stairs during a moving-up ceremony at Parañaque National High School in Parañaque City.

Footage captured by LJ Saluya shows the woman in a yellow shirt sitting behind her son as they line up on March 27.

In another clip, the parent and the schoolboy stand on the stairs as ushers and teachers support her weight while she slowly makes her way to the stage.

Moments later, she placed the medal around her son’s neck and posed for photos with faculty members.

The emotional mother appeared overwhelmed, shedding tears as the crowd cheered and applauded.

The heartwarming video has so far garnered 1.2 million views, 37,400 likes, 1,300 comments and 3,200 shares on Facebook.
