In an adorable moment, a clingy pet cockatiel refused to leave its owner’s side, hitching a ride on a young girl’s head as she strolled through a shopping centre.
Footage shows the teenager walking through the Evia Lifestyle Center in Las Piñas with Leyla, her yellow cockatiel, perched firmly on her head.
Joining the pair was Blu, a vibrant Indian Ringneck parakeet, who sat on her shoulder.
In another clip, the birds remained still as the youngster posed for pictures on December 27, drawing plenty of attention from fellow shoppers.
During their outing, the girl and her father even crossed paths with Filipino actress and television host Miriam Quiambao. The celebrity and her son were seen delightedly stroking Blu as the family stopped to chat.
Edson, the girl’s father, said:”We stopped by the mall in Las Pinas to grab some snacks and coffee. We were so amused by how happy and excited the other shoppers were to see our pets, Blu and Leyla.”
