What was supposed to be an emotional highlight of Christian and Cariza’s wedding took an unexpected and viral turn when a familiar name suddenly entered their Same Day Edit (SDE): Zaldy Co.
As the video played, guests expected the usual montage of heartfelt moments, milestones, and tributes inspired by the couple’s work and shared journey. Instead, a surprise message referencing Zaldy appeared, instantly eliciting laughter and shock reactions across the room.
In the video, an AI-generated Zaldy appeared to congratulate the couple.
“After ng kasal ninyo, mas marami pa akong maletang ipapadala sa inyo. At ipapadeliver ko na lang, kayo na ang bahalang mag-inventory…” AI-generated Zaldy said.
The couple’s reaction, to the AI-generated greeting captured by wedding photographer and videographer RPFilmworks, was later shared online. It has so far garnered 775,000 views, 13,000 reactions and over 160 comments.
“Zaldy Co nagsalita ulit,” the post was captioned.
RPFilmworks later clarified that the message was AI-generated.
Zaldy’s statement video
In November, the former House appropriations committee chair posted a video accusing President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez of orchestrating the insertion of 100 billion pesos in projects into the 2025 national budget.
Zaldy, believed to be outside the country, and 17 others currently have warrants of arrest after being indicted on graft charges related to the flood control corruption case.
