In an entertaining moment, a brass band played Christmas carols while riding a fairground pirate ship.

The OMSC Brass Band beat their drums and blew their trumpets as they enjoyed the swinging ride, entertaining fairgoers in Occidental Mindoro.

Footage captured by Kristia Kenept shows the young musicians playing “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” on December 17.

The band members can be seen seated at both ends of the ride while their colleagues watch from the platform.

“We decided to take our carolling activity to the next level, so we hopped onto the ride. It was a memorable experience, and we’d love to do it again,” Kenept wrote.

Kenept’s video has so far garnered 36,000 views, four comments and 70 shares.

“Caroling ba kamo? Tara?!!” she wrote in all caps.

Caroling is a deeply rooted and festive tradition in the country. It officially begins on December 16 to coincide with the start of Night Mass and lasts until the Feast of the Three Kings in January.
