In a heartwarming moment, an owner climbed into a creek to rescue his stranded pet dog.
Flordeluna De Guzman heard Twinkle, the brown Aspin, barking behind their house and discovered the dog stuck in the waterway in Laguna.
Concerned, she called her husband, Virgil De Guzman, to help retrieve the hapless pooch on September 3.
Footage shows Twinkle leaning against the wall, seemingly begging Flordeluna to pick her up.
Moments later, Virgil and his neighbor climbed over the concrete barrier and placed the dog into a sack before returning to safety using a makeshift wooden ladder.
“Our dog was okay and was not hurt from the fall. Fortunately, there was no rain, and the water level was low,” Flordeluna said.
