“Esnyr multiverse.”

A “new character” has been unlocked after a video of a man resembling former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” housemate and content creator Esnyr Ranollo began circulating on social media.

Online users were quick to point out the man’s strong resemblance to Esnyr, with some even mistaking him for the creator himself.

The TikTok video sparked a wave of amusement, as online users shared jokes and reactions about the unexpected “Esnyr look-alike.”

“Hindi mo kami maloloko Esnyr may tattoo ka na pala,” the TikTok user who posted the video said on the caption, while tagging Esnyr and singer and ex-PBB housemate Klarisse de Guzman.

“May tattoo na si Esnyr, pinayagan na ni mowm Klarisse!” the on-screen text on the video read.

TikTok users also made jokes about the characters portrayed by Esnyr in his skits, which are mostly about high school life.

“Pwede na i-hire ni [E]synr para hindi siya mahirapan sa mga character,” a TikTok user commented.

“Ganyan pala si Andrei ‘pag naiwan nya panyo nya sa bahay,” another said.

“Si Bogart naghahanap ng trabaho dahil binagsak ni Ma’am Castro,” a different TikTok user also wrote.

Singer Klarisse de Guzman, fondly called “Mowm” by some of her fellow housemates during the recent “PBB: Celebrity Collab edition,” also joined in on the conversation.

“Sinasabi ko na nga ba,” the “Nation’s Mowm” commented.

The TikTok video has so far garnered 14.7 million views, 1.3 million likes, nearly 14,000 comments, 50,600 saves, and over 548,000 shares.

Meanwhile, an online user shared the TikTok video on X (formerly Twitter), tagging Esnyr on the tweet.

“The similarities are so uncanny 😭,” an X user replied on the tweet.

“G*go ahahahahaha akala ko ikaw @esnyrrr,” another online user tweeted, while mentioning the content creator’s official account.

Esnyr later clarified that he was not the man in the video, putting an end to the confusion.

“Hindi ako yan laro kayo,” the Kapamilya talent said.

Despite the fun and jokes, some online users raised concerns about the possible violation of the man’s privacy.

However, the original uploader clarified that she had asked for his permission before posting the video.

“AWARE PO SIYA!!!! Nag-reach out po ako kay sir,” the uploader replied to a TikTok user who asked if the man was aware he was being recorded.

According to the uploader, she mentioned in the comments that the man had given his consent, but noted that she was unable to pin the comment for visibility.

“FYI!!! Ni-reach out ko po si Sir about dito sa video na inupload ko hehehehe,” she said in a separate comment.

The new character

Some TikTok users identified the man in the viral video as Alvin Ricaflanca, a resident of Marinduque.

Ricaflanca expressed his gratitude for being compared to Esnyr, saying he was flattered to be mistaken for the popular content creator.

“To #Esynr, thank you for being such an inspiring and talented blogger. I’m honored to be mistaken for someone as amazing as you!” he said on his Facebook post.

“This unexpected spotlight has been wild, but I’m embracing it with a grateful heart and a big smile. From mistaken identity to trending, what a ride!” he added.

In a previous post, Ricaflanca said he was not aware that he had already gone viral. However, the uploader of the video commented on the same post to thank him for allowing her to share the content.

Aside from being a former “PBB” housemate and content creator, Esnyr has also appeared in films such as “Sosyal Climbers,” “Balota” and “Love Is Color Blind.”

He was also featured in the music video for “Ako Na Lang” by the P-pop group The Juans, alongside fellow ex-“PBB” housemate Brent Manalo.
