“Nag-dive sya. Nag-dive sya!”

A pageant contestant made waves online after turning the stage into an “Olympic pool” during the sportswear category.

In a TikTok video posted by an online user, the contestant can be seen diving and swimming on stage, a performance that quickly caught the attention of social media users.

“Nilaro ang stage. Ginawang Olympic Pool😂😂😂👏👏👏,” Michael Encarnacion, the online user who uploaded the clip, said in the text on the video.

After her modeling walk, Francheska Garing, dressed in a one-piece swimsuit and goggles, struck a diving pose and stretched lightly as a host introduced her.

Cheers were heard in the background when Garing dove onto the stage with her arms and legs outstretched midair.

She then mimicked swimming, performing a freestyle or front crawl stroke with alternating arms and flutter-kicking legs.

Encarnacion said that he was filming Garing’s performance when she suddenly dove and mimicked swimming.

He added that her performance was unexpected and unforgettable.

As of writing, the TikTok post has racked up 2.6 million views, 283,100 likes, 1,392 comments, over 9,600 saves and more than 125,000 shares.

The clip also drew laughter from online users, including a hair care brand that joined in on the fun.

“Parang PE class lang nung pandemic,” a TikTok user commented.

“Nagdive siya ng walang tubig. Sabihin niyong hindi talent ‘yan,” another said.

“Literal na don’t let them know your next move,” an online user on the platform also shared.

“LA2028 Gold secured,” the official account of Cream Silk Philippines, a conditioner brand, also commented on the post, referring to the Los Angeles Summer Olympics in 2028.

Others expressed hope that Garing would take home the Best in Sportswear award.

“Tell me na sya ang Best in Sportswear,” a TikTok user said.

The contest was part of the PinasSaya Sportsfest and Family Day 2025, held on August 16 at the Indiana Aerospace University-covered court in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The event was organized by ResultsCX, an international customer experience management company with operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines, including sites in Metro Manila, Rizal, Batangas and Cebu.
