A singer went to extreme lengths for her DIY music video – being dangled upside down from a bridge.
Jeeanah Ursula recorded her original song “Notice Me” with the help of friends amid rainfall on Supilan Bridge in Apalit, Pampanga.
Footage shows the group carefully hoisting Jeeanah, wearing a long-sleeve white polo, inverted and hanging from a rope with her arms crossed over her chest on August 14.
They then left her suspended in the air, arms outstretched, as they captured the scene.
In another clip, taken before filming, one of her crew members can be seen wrapping duct tape around her feet to secure a black rope while she lies on a foam mattress.
“We decided to shoot all the scenes in just one day because our team is from Manila and we didn’t have much budget to record it over two days,” Jeenah said.
Videos of behind-the-scenes from the music video were posted on Facebook from August 14 to August 19. The first video has garnered 215,100 views.
“Mala-spiderman ang atake,” Jeenah captioned her post.
“Ginusto mo ‘yung ganitong scene sa music video kaya panindigan mo,” the text on the first video reads.
Another video came with the text: ‘Yung akala nila normal na MV pero ganito pala.” This video has earned over 17,000 views.
Jeenah also promoted her song, now available to stream on Spotify. It has so far drawn over 1,100 streams.
