“‘La Luna Sangre’ supremacy!”
The 2017 television series, starring Kathryn Bernardo and Angel Locsin, trended on X (formerly Twitter) following a viral post claiming that a seven-year-old Russian learned to speak Filipino language from watching the show on YouTube.
“Please don’t give your children iPads. One of my nieces, a 7-year-old who has never been outside of the Caucasus, began speaking Tagalog,” the X user wrote.
“We couldn’t converse with her. I went through her YouTube history and it turned out she’d been watching a 16+ Filipino vampire drama series,” the Russian continued.
