For the third time in a row, a Philippine bet is once again featured in a photoshoot of an official cosmetics sponsor of the Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi is among the five delegates part of the photoshoot for MUBA Cosmetics, as seen on their Instagram account.
The Filipina beauty was joined by Miss Universe Thailand Anna Sueangam-iam, Miss Universe Spain Alicia Faubel, Miss Universe Bahrain Evlin Khalifa and Miss Universe South Africa Ndavi Nokeri.
“As the UNIVERSE evolves we must TRANSFORM,” the vegan cosmetics brand said in its caption on January 8.
It featured the delegates sporting dramatic dark-and-glittery eye makeup with nude lips while wearing black suits with metallic accents.

Not all delegate is given a chance to be featured in the cosmetic line’s Miss Universe photoshoot.
Last Friday, MUBA also featured a clip where Celeste’s “everyday look” was done by its CEO and founder, Andres Felipe.

Celeste’s inclusion in the photoshoot was noticed by online pageant communities who were delighted by it.
“From 2020 — Present, MUBA Cosmetics are selecting 5 [five] Miss Universe Delegates who will be doing a photoshoot with them wearing caliber and high fashioned make-ups. For 3 [three] years, Miss Universe Philippines Candidates are always on their list,” a Facebook page said.
“3 years in a row, our Queens became parts of the famed MUBA Cosmetics photoshoot,” another Facebook page wrote.
Last year, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez was among the delegates featured in MUBA’s photoshoot with the theme of environmental sustainability and its impact on the world.
Bea was joined by Miss Universe 2021 Spain Sarah Loinaz, Miss Universe Belgium 2021 Kedist Deltour, Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen and Miss Universe India 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, who eventually became the winner.
The year before that, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo also appeared in the cosmetic line’s photoshoot.
She was accompanied by Miss Universe Iceland 2020 Elisabet Snorradottir, Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020 Estefanía Soto Torres, Miss Universe Uruguay 2020 Lola de los Santos and Miss Universe South Africa 2020 Natasha Joubert.
