The Philippine store of Swedish furniture retailer IKEA is celebrating its upcoming birthday by offering the brand’s famous meatballs for P1 per piece as part of its promos and offerings.

Called the “Piso Ball” or “₱1SO Ball,” the promo enables patrons to enjoy a piece of Swedish meatball for P1 in its restaurant inside the retailer’s largest store in the world on November 25, Friday.

Meatballs are a mainstay in Swedish diets and have become a symbol of IKEA’s Scandinavian brand image.

“Food is a big part of people’s lives and it is the heart of everyday life,” the brand said on its website.

“The IKEA vision is to create a better everyday life for the many by serving them an honest and modern taste of Sweden they can trust and feel good about,” it added.

Apart from that, the furniture retailer is also offering birthday blowout sales up to November 27.

IKEA Philippines first opened on Nov. 25, 2021, at the MOA Square in the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
