An online user saved her grandfather using a method of diagnosing stroke attack, which she learned from the television series “2 Good 2 Be True.”

In an episode, Kathryn Bernardo, who portrays the role of Ali, a nurse, performed the FAST method to identify if Lolo Hugo Agcaoili, played by the actor Ronaldo Valdez had a stroke attack.

FAST stands for facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulties and time.

This method is an easy way to remember the sudden signs of a stroke, the American Stroke Association said.

In a tweet, Camille de Chavez thanked the show for raising awareness about stroke.

“I just want to express my sincere gratitude to the whole team of #2GoodToBeTrue, especially @bernardokath, for releasing an episode about stroke awareness. I was able to perform the FAST method last night with my lolo. Found out he had a stroke and immediately [brought him] to the hospital,” de Chavez wrote.

Her message of gratitude reached “2 Good 2 Be True” and its lead stars Kathryn and Daniel Padilla. The actors sent a video message and a fruit basket.

The Kapamilya actress also wrote a letter wishing for Lolo Esing’s recovery and thanked Camille for looking after her grandfather. Kathryn also drew a doodle resembling her character, nurse Ali.
