One of the cast members of Netflix’s Korean thriller “All Of Us Are Dead” is a Filipino.
In an Instagram post, Noreen Joyce Guerra thanked those who supported the K-zombie series.
Noreen also shared screenshots from the scenes of the first episode of the series which she is part of.
“Thank you so much, everyone!” she wrote in both English and Korean languages.

In a previous post, Noreen shared her old selfies while filming the now-popular show two years ago.
“Filmed Almost two years ago, and now it’s finally here!!” she said.

The actress played one of the classmates of one of the main stars Yoo In-soo who depicted a bully named Yoon Gwi-nam in Hyosan High School, the ground zero of a zombie attack in All Of Us Are Dead.
In a recent interview with PEP.ph, Noreen said that she has taken part in nearly 85 Korean films and series so far, all of which were part-time or extra roles.
These include recent Netflix Originals “Extracurricular” and “My Name” and other recent popular titles such as “Hospital Playlist”, “Our Beloved Summer” and “The King.”
Noreen knew that the roles she played in them were only small and barely recognizable.
She kept doing them because it was fun.
“I keep on doing this kasi I am having fun and I don’t really expect recognition in return kaya kahit hindi nila ako mapansin, okay lang!” Noreen was quoted as saying.
Noreen, who is from Roxas City in Capiz, shared that prior to her acting career, she had event volunteer jobs at the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines.
It was then that she met people in the Korean entertainment industry.
Because of these connections, Noreen shared that she was able to work as assistant stage director and translator in fashion show events, and movie and drama awards.
Some of them suggested that she should try becoming an actress.
She said it wasn’t easy at first because of her appearance.
“I tried applying for foreigner roles but got declined because of my appearance. Therefore, I tried Korean roles just because, and it worked. That is also the reason why my roles are all Korean,” Noreen was quoted as saying.
She has been enjoying her acting career in Korea for the past six years.
Some Filipino fans, meanwhile, said that they quickly spotted the fellow Filipino in a scene where she was the only student who placed her bag in front of her before crossing the street.
Filipino viewers shared that they also have that habit to protect their belongings from getting snatched.
“I used to do the same way back when I was in Manila dami kasing pitik at laslas bag gang (laugh emoji),” a Facebook user said.
“Hahah there are some Pinoy school habits you can’t just take away,” another online user commented.
“Common po ba sa Korea yung sa harap nakalagay yung bag? Parang Divisoria vibes po,” an Instagram user said.
“All of Us Are Dead” is a series about students trapped at a school infected by a zombie virus. It tells how they struggle to stay alive until help arrives.
The series is still the top Non-English show on Netflix Philippines.
Last week, the streaming entertainment service said “All of Us Are Dead” earned the first place Top 10 (Non-English TV) list in 29 countries.
It also soared in the Top 10 among 62 countries including the USA, Canada, Brazil, Greece, Russia, Spain and Italy, among others.
