“Have you spotted #Trese in your city?”
“Trese” series co-creator Budjette Tan shared some snaps of billboards along highways in different parts of the country featuring the upcoming Netflix adaptation of the Philippine graphic novel.
The photos, according to him, were taken by fans who spotted them in Manila, Cebu and Davao.
“Thanks to all the people who shared and tagged us,” Tan tweeted.

Tan on Friday asked “Trese” readers on a Facebook group if they were able to pass by the South Luzon Expressway or SLEX.
Fans asked in jest if he was referring to a “billboard” or a “Tikbalang sighting.”
Facebook user Trish Vee was the first one to share that her friend, identified as JDPC, was able to spot a billboard along the “Skyway going (to) Cavite.”
It featured an illustration of Alexandra Trese, the lead character, with a circular seal behind her profile.
A day after Tan posted the question on the group, another fan shared that she went “billboard hunting for fun.”
“This is on EDSA, southbound between Guadalupe and Rockwell. The huge TV on EDSA is really cool if you’re lucky to see it, as the approach is pretty cool. (I was a passenger don’t worry) We were also just lucky with the timing,” Facebook user Lara Fernandez Barrios wrote in her post.
“After that, you will see the billboard on top of First Shonshin building. It’s by a Shell Station and near the Estrella pedestrian overpass to Rockwell,” she added.
Another fan, Twitter user @saysuuu, shared of spotting it on Lipa, Batangas as well.

“Trese,” an award-winning graphic novel series created by Tan and Kajo Baldisimo, tells the story of detective Alexandra Trese going head-to-head with a criminal underworld comprised of malevolent supernatural beings.
It was adapted into an animated series by streaming giant Netflix and was produced by Shanty Harmayn and Tanya Yuson at BASE Entertainment, a studio based in Jakarta and Singapore with Jay Oliva (âWonder Woman,â âThe Legend of Korraâ) as executive producer.
The titular character will be voiced by actress Liza Soberano in its Filipino dub while Shay Mitchell will lend her voice in the English version.
